MISSION
KNIVES & TOOLS MPF
Multi Purpose Folder
A Mission Knives &
Tools, Inc. and Allen Elishwitz Custom Knives Joint project, the MPF is
definately one folder that you do not want to miss. The Mission M.P.F
features an integral locking system which keeps the entire knife assembly
simple and easy to maintain.
A preferred choice
among both military and law-enforcement Explosive Ordnance Disposal personnel
due to its all-titanium construction, the MPF has no magnetic signature
- it has deemed Non Magnetic per MIL-M-19595.
MISSION
KNIVES & TOOLS MPK
Multi Purpose Knife
Today, the modern military force may need more than one version of the
same piece of equipment to satisfy different field requirements. In the
case of the seemingly simple knife, as many as four knives may be issued
to a single force - each with its own purpose. A standard issue stainless
steel scuba knife, for example, would not be suitable for use in operations
where non magnetic properties are required.
MISSION
KNIVES & TOOLS MPS
Multi Purpose Survival
The Mission MPS is
currently being reviewed by the United States Military as a possible replacement
for the current issue Pilots Survival Knife. The skeletonized tang handle
reduces the knife weight to the absolute minimum possible, while still
retaining a ergonomic grip. Later models will come with the option of
having a Hytrel covered handle.
MISSION
KNIVES & TOOLS MPT
Multi Purpose Tactical
Mission has manufactured
the first production run of the new Multi Purpose Tactical knife, the
MPT. The new knife was designed with the input and suggestions of U.S.
Marine Recon units, units of the Army's Special Operations Command, and
various United States Special Operations personnel. The MPT has been field
tested, with all comments and suggestions coming directly back to Mission.
This returned data us used to see how we can further improve the knife's
various features and handling. This new knife was created from the desires
and needs of multiple military units which wanted a light weight, high
strength, non-magnetic, non-corrosive tool - a titanium bladed knife -
with a more compact and thinner silhouette, and with a "higher speed
& lower drag coefficient" than Mission's U.S. Navy MPK. Mission
has responded to these requests by producing the MPT.
MISSION
KNIVES & TOOLS MPU & MPD
Multi Purpose Utility knife - Multi Purpose Dive Knife
This knife was initially
designed from the requirements of the Special Forces, Special Operations,
and "SWAT" communities that needed a smaller knife that could
be strapped onto the forearm or tucked into a boot, or fit into a compact
survival kit. Like it's "bigger brother," the MPS, a skeletonized
handle includes lightening / attachment holes that offer a lighter / slimmer
knife plus the added benefit of more attachment points.
MISSION
KNIVES & TOOLS NMS
Non Magnetic Sharpener.
This NonMagnetic diamond
sharpener is ideal for those who do not want any possible magnetic contamination
on the Mission Knives titanium knives when performing sharpening maintenance.
Conic shape and design allows for sharpening of even the smallest serrations.
Plating, not bonding technology ensures that the diamond matrix will not
flake off when exposed to water.
MISSION
KNIVES & TOOLS EOD DEMINING PROBES
Non-Magnetic probes available in fixed or take apart configurations
Mission has designed
these titanium probes to keep the operator alive. Titanium is non-magnetic,
non-corrosive, tougher than steel, and wil not break in subzero temperatures.
Because of these properties, titanium is the ideal material to find sub-surface
mines in the safest fashion.
The
current "suicide sticks" made out of plastic, carbon fiber,
fiberglass fishing rods, aluminum, wood, etc, bend or break and give the
operator an unclear "feel" when locating mines.
Mission's objective
in building these EOD designed probes is to give the operator the best
of all possible odds. It is much harder to make a serious mistake with
a proble that does not over-flex or break when you are probing for a mine.
