definately one folder that you do not want to miss. The Mission M.P.F
features an integral locking system which keeps the entire knife assembly
simple and easy to maintain.
A preferred choice
among both military and law-enforcement Explosive Ordnance Disposal personnel
due to its all-titanium construction, the MPF has no magnetic signature
- it has deemed Non Magnetic per MIL-M-19595.

The all-titanium Multi
Purpose Folder, the MPF - this knife was designed with the input and suggestions
from the Army's Special Operations Command, United States Special Operations
personnel, and U.S. Marine Recon units. Final design was accomplished
with the assistance and cooperation of Allen Elishewitz Custom knives.
 Four
models of folding knives are to be offered as the MPF1, MPF2, MPF3, and
MPF4 Each model will be available in both titanium and steel blades, each
blade being available in either clip point or dual-ground tanto. The MPF1-TI
and MPF2-TI are unique due to their all-titanium construction. Both knives
are totally titanium, including the blade, handles, screws, pins, studs,
and the removable belt clip. The future MPF3 and MPF4 will includ either
G-10 or Carbon Fiber handles with titanium liners to lock the blade open
and are offered as economical alternatives to the ultra heavy-duty MPF1
and MPF2

 The
MPF's ergonomic hilt was specifically designed to achieve maximum "handle-purchase,"
yet feel comfortable in either hand. This rugged folding knife can, at
the same time, be easily shifted into any aggressive grip style needed
to meet any challenge. Notice the angled thumb ramp that naturally places
the thumb in a comfortable and blade controlling position.  There
is also an index finger groove cut into the blade, which allows for precision
cutting work. When opened, the blade is fully locked in place by a heavy-duty
handle locking bar section, which was successfully tested by one evaluator
who accomplished 12 "chin-ups" with his full 190-pound body
weight without any damage whatsoever to the blade, handle or lock. The
MPF1-TI has gone into immediate military service exactly as it has been
produced, but Mission will continue to work with the using units to perfect
their products.
