Well, not really. What’s actually happening is that it’s being phased out and replaced with STONEWASH!
I’ve been asking Emerson for many years now to offer a stonewashed option, and let me tell ya, it looks badass. Folks, if you need a knife for hard use, Stonewash finished knives are the choice to make. Unlike traditional coating options, it resists scratches and damage, and wears a lot better over the life of your knife. Sure, it’s bare metal – but seriously, it works and works well, and quite frankly just looks better to boot.
