Since 1997, Jeff Randall and Mike Perrin of Randall’s Adventure & Training (RAT) have designed no-nonsense, affordable field knives specifically targeted to military, law enforcement, and serious outdoorsmen. Since our beginnings, RAT designed knives have become extremely popular and well recognized around the world. Many RAT knives now serve in the combat zones of Iraq, Afghanistan and other remote locales. We are also the “knife of choice” for many local, state and federal law enforcement officers.

We’ve received shipments of the RC-3 series in both plain edge and partially serrated, standard and rounded pommels. More are arriving daily.

If you’ve got a challenge to face, pull the Ripcord. The Ripcord offers a unique, patented design that provides the strength and stability of a fixed-blade knife, yet stores as compactly as a folding knife. The key is Kershaw’s “Out the Front” (OTF) design. With OTF, the blade slides out the front of the handle into a secure, fixed-blade position. A convenient belt sheath doubles as the OTF deployment system. The knob in the sheath engages or disengages the locking function. Simply grasp the handle and pull straight out of the sheath and the blade will deploy in a locked fixed-blade position.
