Staff Notes: The Benchmade Saddle Mountain Skinner series is extremely popular as a "do all" general-purpose field knife.   The 4.17" blade is short enough to easily clean game with and has a medium belly for skinning. The drop point has jimping near the tip for extra control when performing detail cuts.  Attractive wood (15001-2) or G-10 (15001-1) handle scales make this a knife that has a modern, yet classic feel.  A lanyard hole is present for additional retention.

This is a knife we whole heartedly recommend to anyone who is looking for a great field knife for a special hunter or outdoorsman in their life.
