Designed as a low cost, economical automatic knife for military or law enforcement use, the 550 is based on the wildly popular M724 Paratrooper Knife.
The 550 Automatic Knife measures 7.0" overall, with a 2.75" clip point blade. The stainless steel blade has been blackened for subdued appearance. To open, move the sliding safety switch to the rear and press the firing button. The safety can be reapplied after opening for an extra level of closure prevention.
The plastic handle reflects the utility nature of this offering; deep ribs allow for a secure grip in most conditions, even when packed with mud. A stainless steel pocket clip is found on the reverse side of the knife, it is positioned for tip down carry.
